Ostara Sabbat / Spring Equinox
Here Comes the Son

The point in the yearly cycle when balance exists between light and dark. The day of Spring Equinox has equal times of daylight and darkness

As the Sun moves from Pisces to Aries, it will cross the earth's celestial equator, and a momentary balance of day and night is achieved. Thereafter, the hours of light will predominate and the hours of dark will fade into the past.

The Equinox then, is a time for us to examine our own balance. Does a balance exist within ourselves, or are we prisoners of the images of how we "should" be?

As we move toward our outer nature (the light), we must honor our inner nature (the dark). The time of inner reflection is now over. Now these reflections will begin to manifest, blossom and appear.

Here Comes The Sun
Lyrics by George Harrison

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
And I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
And I say it's all right
It's all right
